Buying a camcorder

Buying a camcorder is one of the most expensive equipment you will buy, when it comes to making a high quality video.  There are so many video equipments on the market and it is hard to choose the right one.  Don't just run out and buy the first camcorder you see, follow tips that are provided to choose the right one.

1. What do you need the camera for?
- Is it for YouTube so you can be a star? You will need to buy a camcorder with a webcam function.
- You will also need to look at the size of the camcorder as you will be travelling around with it if you are using it for family trips.
- Are you a professional going to film a big movie?

2. Research the features
Now you know what you want to use the camcorder for you now need to think about the features you will need to achieve your perfect filming.

3. What format do I need?
Will you go for high definition or standard definition? As technology improves the price comes down on high- definition camcorders. If you want it to look sharp and cutting edge then high definition is the way to go. But what you also have to consider is your need to have HD editing software and player.
